Misadventures in 1910s Sewing: The Elsie Blouse by Wearing History

Hey guys! Join me in this video for some 1910s blouse-making (mis)adventures, featuring the Elsie Blouse - an original late 1910s pattern edited and graded for multiple sizes by Wearing History. It's such a cute style, and works equally as a historical and as a modern (historybounding) piece! I also included a couple sneak peeks of two antique Edwardian garments in my collection which will be featured in more detail in future videos :)

When I was hunting around for resources to help me sew the Elsie Blouse, I realized there weren't a lot of videos documenting the process - so here's my humble contribution! I made a lot of mistakes, but hopefully seeing step-by-step how I constructed the blouse (as well as where I went wrong) will help anyone interested in making this blouse for themselves decipher the scant original instructions, and come up with a construction process which works for them!
