How To Create A Digital Twin of A Brewery (or anywhere else)

Описание к видео How To Create A Digital Twin of A Brewery (or anywhere else)

In this video, we use the Matterport Pro3 Camera to create a digital twin of a South London Brewery. We show how easy it is to capture a space and then how you can use it. Matterport makes it easy for anyone to produce stunning virtual tours with every dimension captured. There's no need for any specialist knowledge as the model is processed automatically by its Cortex AI. Once the digital twin is created, you can also download floorplans, take measurements, order a BIM model that you can use with Revit, or a host of other things.
A digital twin is just a digital copy of something that allows you to better understand its real-world counterpart. But the key is that it’s not a one-way street, you then use that better understanding to manage the thing that you
twinned. And a digital twin isn’t just for physical assets - you can create one of a process or really anything that you want to model in order to gain insights about.
If you'd like to know more about digital twins, you should watch our Digital Twin Webinar series.
A note on this video - when we say 8-10 metres between scans, we're discussing the maximum distance. For good quality models, you should be scanning more closely together.
