Nano skimmer AquaExcel AE-50

Hi folks, just a quick video on the performance of this nano skimmer. My previous in-sump nano skimmer had been giving me a big headache due to microbubbles leakage into the sump, which started to affect my cabinet and etc. Tons of nano skimmers are available in the market, but either is too costly or microbubbles leakage issues. It's a tough time for me until recently i discovered this AquaExcel protein skimmer while browsing through Taobao website. Not much reviews are available for this skimmer, only 1 or 2 good comments on no microbubbles leakage issues in the review section. I was at doubt initially, but since the price was within my budget (RMB 218, roughly MYR 110), why don't i just give it a try. Surprisingly, it performed well out of my expectation. No microbubbles leakage at all, except on and off few big bubbles escape from the sponges in the flow exit. The skimmates was pretty good as well for this range of nano skimmer. The only cons is that, you need to shut down the skimmer to clean the collection cup as no drainage outlet available. Might own DIY a drainage outlet later.
