Going thru the shake down on NSG RIB Converted Pacific with Extended Range tender Chassis Assembly #3 which is Rodney's engine. Unit #1 was build as a K5 for Leon. Unit #2 was my 2014 Corvette Tribute Engine. So while we have build several engines with all these upgrades and features, this seems to remain a prototype in production. I have found mistakes I made in the assembly and component substitution that may have not been perfect. We also tried to recreate the Motor on Trigger for the Puff Relay and it has failed. I had a diode bridge before with a Buck Board which is way too big, but in trying shrink that assembly the 7805 Chip and Rectifier had too much volt drop to be effective. So far that has been the hardest issue to resolve. And will take time delaying the rest of the engine assembly. So we clearly still in Prototype Phase of development. I have also made changes to the 6 Wheel AWPU Trucks I expect will require a few tweaks to perfect. What may happen is I complete all the develop tasks and end up with a strong solution for all the aspects of the NGS Upgrades. Then I have to recreate portions of Unit #3 for Rodney to replace the messed up and repaired subassemblies. We are halfway thru October so we can see how trying to push development can occasionally actually delay the completed assembly. In wanting to share the upgrades I likely needed one more R&D assembly session before trying to deliver three completed assemblies. But, not to worry, we will get there and it will be fine. It will delay my hope to complete the Diesel DC Motor DC conversion and the Special drive needed for my Snowpiercer Engine. We will prevail eventually. Today I visit a local machine shop to get quotes on the Chassis Modification, Ball Bearing conversion and Axle, Drive gear, Wheel modifications for rest of the Flyer Hobbyist that may want to get those Upgrades.
