Leeds 5k Series. Racing at the Brownlee Centre on the Boddington Cycle Circuit in Nike Vaporfly 4%

The EvenSplits Leeds 5K races are held monthly from February to November at the University of Leeds Brownlee Centre. This year, for the first time, you can also race for your club in the EvenSplits Club Championship so next race I hope to see even more red and white of Hyde Park Harriers!

I love that this race series has a season ticket. It gets me out racing once a month... and you get a chocolate bar afterwards! The Boddington Cycle Circuit at The Brownlee Centre is an incredible place to race. It's a great surface, always has amazing support and something about it just feels special. For one race it is £8/£10 (affiliated/unaffiliated) or you can commit early and save money by paying for the whole year (£44/£55) which is what I have done. You can't complain at £4.40 for a great 5 km race!

I already can't wait for the next one and to give it some effort later in the year to run 5 km really hard, wearing my favourite 5 km road racing shoes! My Nike Vaporfly 4%. They are the bounciest shoe I have ever run in... but also the most expensive!
