Scunthorpe United 3-0 Chorley FC

A first league game back at Glanford Park since the ground was secured. Chorley visiting on the back of an 8 game unbeaten run stretching back to beginning of November, up to the 4th in the league. Anyway that run soon came to an end against another inform team. Scunthorpe running out 3-0 winners. Chorley came to play football and not just sit and defend. Do lead to an entertaining game. Chorley starting on the front foot, with pace to burn up top. That’s ok but it’s the end product they were lacking. Creating chances just not composed enough to finish them. Scunthorpe started the scoring with a penalty and then added 2 more in the 2nd half. Ran out comfortable winners in the end. Chorley though kept looking for a goal even if just a consolation. It never came so a clean sheet too. Credit to the team, everyone stepped up and good to see Ogle back.
