About the Singer- Xannady Reidhead is Edwin Weiss's Granddaughter. She comes from a family of 11 kids and is the second oldest. For as long as she can remember she has loved to sing.
From the age of 2 she would sing while her Grandma would
play the piano. Back in February she had been hospitalized for what is called VCD
(vocal cord dysfunction). She had gone to many appointments
although the first one she was told she may never be able to
sing again. She remembers looking at her dad and seeing him
start to cry as she was crying because he knew how much
singing meant to her and her family. She had to sit out on a
half a year of choir, during this time they were prepping for a
production of the Addams Family. 2 weeks before the production’s opening night, she was told she could participate. While doing her performance as she was singing she felt a pop and her throat started to burn. After she was done she ran to the back and started to drink water and cry
because all she could think was that she was done. However, here she is today doing this
competition. It’s nerve racking for her and it’s different from anything she’s ever done and it’s a challenge for her. However she is doing it to have fun and to do what she loves most, to sing!
