Buster was really chatty this evening. A few viewers asked some questions about Earl stepping up & etc. I wanted to show that Earl prefers to have scritches in his cage. Maybe because he was cage-bound for so long, that is his safe place.
He goes over to Earls's cage every night. He usually does it after Buster is covered, and I rarely film it. I asked him a few days ago if he could show before he finishes Buster to show this. It saves time, and we try to walk after we put the boys up. It gives us some time together, so I keep bedtime to a minimum.
This was the 3rd day of doing that. I have never seen Buster this upset. He was 'beaking' really hard. Clearly, he was distraught.
Earl does not mind if he goes in before putting Buster up. Or he can go back to doing it after Buster is covered. If anyone has negative comments? I will reply here with this... We know our parrots. We know what is best for them. We live here 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. I hope this video can be positive and show how he greets Buster first. We will return to how we do things, and I will not be pressured to change the routine again. If you are part of this channel, you realize we know what is best for our crew.
