Colorado Schools are failing. This video is just one story of many where schools would rather do anything but teach our children how to read and write. Harrison School District 2 is the topic of my video today.

District 2 wants to spend $6 million to build 20 tiny homes (That’s $300,000 for the poor souls who attended District 2 and can’t do math). These are going to be 325 square foot units that they can rent to teachers for $825/month. However, 75% of their students are failing math according to 2023 CMAS (Colorado Measures of Academic Success) and 60% of them are failing when it comes to reading and writing. Many of these kids live below the poverty line and education is their best chance at a vbrighter future. The superintendent of this district is Wendy Birhanzel and ultimately she is responsible for the success of her students. Her focus is on building tiny homes for teachers though, not improving test scores.
