Don Van Palta had an amazing career from playing at the original Shakey's Pizza Parlor (in 1954), The Banjoist for the Mickey Finn Show to a long career playing on cruise ships. This video is Part 1 of his live performance on a cruise ship.

He was inducted twice into the American Banjo Museum Hall of Fame for "Performance" and "Education and Instruction." He was responsible for so many banjos learning to play the instrument. Thank you Don for everything you gave us.
