Stained Glass Iris Long Lasting Melt and Pour Soap Painting

I wanted to find a way to embed a painting in melt and pour soap so that the painting would last for the entire use of the soap. This is the easiest way I came up with. Soap Mica dissolved in alcohol is painted on a thin sheet of clear melt and pour soap. You can put a drawing behind the soap to guide you. Anyone can do this! When the painting is completed, another clear sheet of soap is carefully placed over and pressed down to seal the painting. You don’t want to smear the painting. Then, for this soap, I painted the back of the embed with a little bluebell mica with sparkles melt and pour soap. This is optional but shows you can paint melt and pour onto the embed if you wish. Finally, I slipped the embed into clear melt and pour soap. The painting will last until the soap is used up since it is in the center of the soap.
