Dabba Gosht Recipe :

Preparation of mutton:
In a cooker, add 2 tsp oil, heat it, add 1 tsp jeera / cumin seeds, paste of 2 medium sized onions, 2 tsp ginger garlic paste. Sauté everything and then add ½ kg mutton along with half glass water. Pressure cook till the mutton becomes soft and tender
Preparation of gravy :
In a grinder jar, add 10-12 cashews (soaked in water), 2 tsp poppy seeds/ khus khus (soaked in water), 2-2 tbs roasted groundnuts, ½ cup fresh coconut pieces, 2 green chillies and ground this to a fine paste.
Now, in a pan , add 2 tsp oil, add 1 tbs maida/ all purpose flour (to make the gravy thick), 1 tsp cumin seeds/ jeera powder, ½ tsp black pepper powder, add the above prepared paste, add ½ cup curd. Mix well and let it cook for sometime with constant stirring.
Add the cooked mutton along with its stock. Add salt as per the taste. Cover it and let the gravy cook with mutton for another 5-7 minutes.
Grease a borosil tray (flat trough) with oil. in a separate bowl, beat 2 eggs and line the borosil trough with little egg (2 -3 tsp). Now pour the cooked mutton with gravy over this. Garnish with tomatoes and coriander. Pour the entire mixture of beaten eggs over it. Now, pour hot oil/ ghee over it and transfer the tray in microwave oven and cook for 2-3 mins at 200 0 C.
Serve the Dabba gosht hot with paratha or naan.
