“We’ve got a contract!” Lian-Chu and Gwizdo land on the lazaretto island of Glumpox to hunt down a dragon of unknown identity. The island is a refuge for sick children afflicted with a contagious disease, so Lian-Chu who is scared stiff of illnesses has to come face to face with his fears. Gwizdo isn’t over the moon either, particularly when he learns that their mission is not to slay the dongeon’s dragons but to investigate the cause of their recent violent behavior. What’s more the lives of the children on the island depend on the dragons’ cooperation, something that the hunters frown upon. The reasons for this are murky; all the hunters do know is that solving the riddle is a matter of life or death. In their quest for answers, Lian-Chu and Gwizdo come face to face with their respective fears and embark on a journey into the gloomy underground lair of the dragons, which they are forbidden to attack.
