The next part of our walking tour takes us to discover where The Silver Beatles/ Beatles came up with their band name; where John Lennon and Stuart Sutcliffe shared a flat.

Close to the Liverpool Art College, John joined Stuart Sutcliffe and Rod Murray at Gambier Terrace, having previously asked both Rod and Stuart if they would like to join the group as the new bass guitarist. That initial conversation took place in 9 Percy Street, where we also visit.
