My Hybrid Corn Project - Where We Are And How We Got Here

Описание к видео My Hybrid Corn Project - Where We Are And How We Got Here

I started this project about 5 years ago when I grew some Glass Gem Corn. I crossed the Glass Gem Corn with some popcorn to make it pop better. Later I crossed my Glass Gem Corn hybrid with Japonica Corn to add variegated foliage to the mix. That cross created some really nice looking corn that popped well, but didn't have the variegated foliage because that trait is recessive. This year, I planted seeds from the cross and as you would expect, some of the plants did have variegation. I'm really looking forward to seeing what the ears look like this year. Let me know what you think of this project. Thanks for watching!
