Installing Fender CuNiFe WideRange humbuckers into a J Masics Jazzmaster - with sound samples!

While I love playing my Squier J Mascis Jazzmaster, I've never quite felt in sync with its pickups. So when Fender announced they were making CuNiFe WideRange humbuckers in a Jazzmaster pickup size, I was intrigued.

A caveat: the sounds in the video aren't necessarily optimal for the new pickups - I set the sounds for the originals, so it's more of a comparison between the two rather than showing off the WideRanges at their optimum (I'll do another video later to show off the sound on their own). But the Mascises (Mascii?) are pretty popular, so if anyone else is thinking of upgrading, then hopefully this comparison may help! Plus, these pickups are still pretty new (at time of posting) so I wanted to share some sounds.
