I can't seem to help myself when it comes to hand-made Indian fountain pens. I just ordered two of the new Abhimanyu Grand pens from Ranga in India via a group buy on facebook. "Group Buy" is misleading... this is just an order form via the Ranga facebook page... you don't need to organize a group or anything.

Anyway, one of these is an ebonite fountain pen and I opted for a non-polished finish, and the other is a striped acrylic fountain pen. Both are beautiful. Here I discuss the size and weight of the pens, but mostly just provide some beauty shots. There are a couple of brief writing samples, too, though the Ranga nib is in need of a little work.
