Описание к видео Protect your company from the newest regulations:FTC Non-Compete & the DOL Overtime Eligibility Rule

This webinar will address the requirements and impacts of both the FTC’s new rule on non-competes and the DOL’s overtime eligibility rule and how you can avoid violations and fines.

Topics being covered in the FTC discussion will include who is impacted who is not impacted and how. We will discuss the effective date of the new rule (September 4, 2024), what companies need to be aware of in order to comply, and ways that companies can still protect their proprietary information from walking out the door. This portion of the webinar will address how companies need to treat employees currently covered by non-competes and how to revise company policies in order to be compliant going forward. Most importantly, this webinar will discuss how the three current court cases, including the one filed in the Eastern District of Pennsylvania will impact this new rule.

The section of this webinar addressing DOL’s overtime eligibility rule (which went into effect on July 1) will include current and future salary thresholds for overtime eligibility, company and industry impacts, exceptions, and next steps for companies to implement. This portion of the discussions will also include the court cases challenging this rule and the likely outcomes of such litigation.
