Mohamed Elneny is set to sign for Arsenal for a fee in the region of £7.4 million on a four-and-a-half year contract from Swiss side FC Basel. He's a 23 year old central midfield player who can be utilized as a deep lying midfielder as well as a box-to-box player.

Mohamed Naser Elsayed Elneny (El Nenny; born 11 July 1992 in El-Mahalla El-Kubra) is an Egyptian footballer who plays for Swiss side FC Basel in the Swiss Super League. He is right footed. He competed at the 2012 Summer Olympics playing for the Egyptian U-23 team.
