this radio was posted on the DX club's website he wanted $200 for it that was his listing it said due to shipping and distance the radio is $200 as it has not been used in many years
it was a 6 hour drive for me to get it and a week of back and forth emails to arrange a time to meet. he also has a ft1000mp for $1100. and a wife complaining about his radios. a $200 radio is 200 for a reason usually. this was no exception. appliances operators can not re align a radio so you would have to pay someone else to do that
if you cant provide for yourself.
it looked like a dog crapped on the microphone and the radio was pretty dirty.
So before you leave a stupid comment, read.
i paid the guy exactly what he asked for and drove 6 hours. Im not bragging, and I didn't take advantage of him or anything. half the haters would have drove out and offered $100 complaining it was dirty. I didn't even take the radio out of the box or check it or look at anything and I have all of the means to test it in my vehicle perfectly easy to do. I did not that and I I gave him $200 and we chatted for about 30 minutes and he's going to come up here in a month and buy another radio for me that he wants that he would have just traded me straight across for this radio.
Bottom line...haters and jealous people are gunna hate.
i agree its a $600 radio but this is what he asked for. im not going to drive 6 hrs and offer extra money!
