After searching all over for the perfect desk to turn into a vanity for my dark academia bedroom makeover, my problems with this project are just beginning. This 80+ year old treasure could be the perfect addition to this moody bedroom, unless it destroys my sanity along the way. I try just about everything to save it. Removing damaged veneer, applying new veneer for the first time, sanding, staining, restoring handles, crafting new trim...there's not much that I don't do in this DIY furniture restoration.
