Lalon Shah Park is a park and recreation center on the banks of the river Padma in Pathanpara, Rajshahi . It is the only open recreation center in Rajshahi metropolis . The park was established in 2013 on the initiative of Rajshahi City Corporation . It is named after the mystic poet Lalon Shah .
In 2013, Lalon Shah Park was built on 55 acres of land on the bank of Pathanpara Padma in Ward 9 of Rajshahi metropolis on the initiative of Rajshahi City Corporation (Rasik for short) to enhance the beauty and entertainment of Padmapara. Under Rasik's development project, the construction work was completed at a cost of Taka 2 crore 84 lakhs. It was inaugurated on 10 September of that year by the then State Minister for Local Government, Rural Development and Cooperatives Jahangir

This park can accommodate about 5-6 thousand people at a time. The interior of the park is made up of a variety of items for green zone, landscape and tourist travel. There is an open stage here. Where there are facilities for free cultural events. 650 entertainment lovers will be able to sit together and enjoy various programs in this open theater. People of all ages come and spend their time here to enjoy the fresh air in the pristine environment along the river Padma.
