Chicago firefighters are protesting near the Democratic National Convention this week, calling for more funding and resources after three years without a contract. Dozens of firefighters protested Tuesday on the second day of the convention at the corner of North Ogden Avenue and West Madison Street, just down the road from the United Center. They also protested Monday and will continue Wednesday and Thursday, in addition to putting up billboards in the city.
