Mt. Baker | Chair 6

Chair 6 first was a 1976 Riblet double, built to provide direct access to the summit of Panorama Dome from Raven Hut. This also brought direct lift service to this area, as before, one would have to ride three lifts. The current Doppelmayr CTEC came in in 2004, upping capacity from 1200 to 1800 PPH. The lift uses a custom overhead drive, similar to the neighboring quad chairs, built to match the overhead Riblet drive terminals. Chair 6 has the single highest vertical rise out of any lift at Mt. Baker, a rise of 1,357 feet.
