ABOUT THE PLAY :
Tughlaq' is a play about the turbulent rule of fourteenth-century Delhi sultan Mohammed bin Tughlaq. The protagonist, Mohammed bin Tughlaq, had great Ideas and a grand vision, but his reign was an abject failure. Tughlaq was known for his reformist ideas, one of which was shifting the capital from Delhi to Daulatabad in order to have a capital at the centre of his province. This play covers the consequences of this decision and deals with his clever plots to eliminate his opponents. These end inscenes of utter chaos and misery and Tughlaq is left alone and abandoned.

ABOUT THE DIRECTOR :
Rajesh Kumar Tiwari" is a bollywood actor, Film & theatre director & acting coach who is graduated from National School of Drama (NSD), Batch 1987 - 1990. He had worked in many movies like Padman, Lipstick Under the Burkha, Made In Heaven (Prime Video) Karkash (Kamal Sadhana'film), Apharan, Rowdy Rathore, Ghanchakkar, Anthony Kaun Hai, Aryan (Abhishek Kapoor's film) Pal Pal Dil Ke Sath & tale movie like Choti si Bhool by Anil Chaudhary, Mahatma Hansraj By RanjanKumar. He worked in Tv serials like Sai Baba, Pyar Ka Dard Hai, Yeh Rista Kya Kehlata Hai, Hatim,Once upon a time (DD1), Family Business, Lapata Ganj. He had directed Rave Party Short film 45 min for Film festival.
He also was the chief of Rep. Co. Shri Ram Centre for performing Arts for 10 years & 2 years worked with Little Theatre Group (LTG) in Delhi. 2 years worked with National School of Drama Rep. Company. He has done more than 1500 theatre plays. He directed plays Shneez (Chkhov), Girgit (Written by Chkhov), Babu ji, Mukti Katha, Kast urba, Ashadh Ka Ek Din, Zaroorat Hai Shreemati Ki,Sandhya Chaya, Badi Bua Ji, Othello (William Shakespeare), Jis Lahore Nai dekhya Jamyai Nai, Aadhe Adhure, Tughalaq, Kabira khada bazar mein, Waiting for Godot, Bhagat Singh Ki Waapsi, Rishtey, Chief Minister.
