Players' Corner: Preparing for Life After Sports

AfroSport Summit brings together major sports stakeholders in Africa and beyond to a special event for learning and sharing ideas, advancing discussions, and networking in a unique intersection of science and business. Clubs, federations, businesses, academia, media, athletes, coaches, distinguish personalities, among others, attend the event.

Fentuo Tahiru Fentuo (Sports Journalist, Multimedia Group Limited) hosts Anthony Baffoe (Founder and General Secretary, Professional Footballers Association of Ghana), Asamoah Gyan (Former Ghana Striker; All-Regional Games), Derek Boateng (Former Ghana Midfielder; Scout, Right to Dream Academy) and Jerry Akaminko (Former Ghana International) for a discussion on life after sports for professional athletes.

The 2024 AfroSport Summit was held on 17-18 July at the Ghana College of Physicians and Surgeons in Accra, Ghana.
