Reports say the government has offered Imran Khan house arrest, shifting him from the Adiala Jail in Rawalpindi where he has been lodged since 2023. According to reports, the government also offered Imran Khan's party PTI a "political space," but in exchange for his silence. Reports say Khan has rejected the offer saying that political prisoners including PTI leaders and supporters must be released first. A prolonged PTI campaign of protests and rallies has put the Shehbaz Sharif govt on the back foot as the country plunges into turmoil. The PTI has been demanding unrestricted access to its leader Imran Khan. Now, the PTI has agreed to participate in a third round of talks. Where will these talks head?
