Series production of the Audi e-Tron GT, the brand’s most powerful electric vehicle is launching at the Neckarsulm site. The production process at the Audi Böllinger Höfe is every bit as unique as the car itself.
The Audi e-Tron GT is the brand’s first fully electric car to be built in Germany. The e-Tron GT shares it with the R8 at Audi Böllinger Höfe at the Neckarsulm site – this integration of two technically completely different cars is unique in the Volkswagen Group.

Audi e-Tron GT experience: Production
The e-Tron GT is the first fully electric car from Audi which is built in Germany. It rolls off the assembly line in the Audi Böllinger Höfe at the production site in Neckarsulm. The small-series production facility has been expanded and converted for its new role. The skilled craftsmanship of the previous facility has been supplemented with digital processes and smart technologies. During the expansion, production planners made use of new virtual methods. The production for the e-Tron GT was designed without any physical prototypes – an innovation at Audi.
