Karlanea Brown is on a mission to make Indiana the shrimp capital of the US. She has a degree in fashion designing, become an interior designer, a mother and then a school cafeteria manager. These all lead her to shrimp farming. She started shrimp farming in 2010 and have grown from 6 production tanks to 19 production tanks. Their operation experimented with other species such as crawfish and oysters and hope to become a one stop
seafood shop at the barn selling only sustainable seafood. They also help get people started in shrimp farming.
