We are often asked what the standard is that property owners are held to in Wyoming. The standard is that of ordinary care. In other words, anytime you have a single step, we know that, statistically, people are more likely to fall over a single step than they are multiple steps or a staircase. People are more likely to fall on a single step, therefore architects and people that design properties ought to take into account that single steps are the most dangerous for pedestrians, and that needs to be taken into account.
