Ay khaak e Karbala tu iss ehsann ko na bhool
Tarpi hai tuj pai laashey jigar gosha e batool

Islam kai lahoo sai teri pyaas buj gayi
Serab kar gaya tujhe hoon e rag e Rasool

Karthi rahaygi paysh shahaadat Hussain ki
Azaadi e hayaath ka ye sarmadi usool

Charr jaye kat kai sarr tera nezey ki nowk parr
Laikin yazeedio ki itaat na kar kabool

Ay khaak e Karbala tu iss ehsann ko na bhool

[Translation]

O land of Karbala do not ever forget this favour
A piece of the heart of Sayyida Fatimah (رضي الله عنها) gave His life on you

The blood of Islam has quenched your thirst
Your thirst was only satisfied by The Blood of The Prophetic Lineage

The martyrdom of Imam Hussain (رضي الله عنه) will eternally
Give a message of freedom and sanctity of life

Even if your head is severed and hoisted onto a spear
Do not ever pledge alegiance to the yazeedi ideology

O land of Karbala do not ever forget this favour
A piece of the heart of Sayyida Fatimah (رضي الله عنها) gave His life on you
