/ UNSC Black Viper shot down by pursuing Covenant ship after covert operation on unknown world.

/ The ship crashed on a forest moon at the edge of the nearest human system. Reinforcements are sent in urgently. But covenants flock to the wreckage.

/ Spartans and crew members were able to evacuate the ship before the crash. The remaining forces must regroup to protect the artifact.

/ If the mission is lost, the ONI has given orders to detonate the ship's Fujikawa reactors.

/ The moon LV-413 could be colonized, but ONI has erased all trace of the moon from the archives.
