Dragon Warrior is a seemingly complex but ultimately fairly simple NES RPG. The character completes his quest at Level 7.

In this eighth published movie of the game, RationalMonkey ( https://tasvideos.org/Users/Profile/R... ) saves 00:13.39 seconds over the previous run ( https://tasvideos.org/4050M ), mostly by using wings in Rimuldar rather than a deathwarp. See the author's comments ( https://tasvideos.org/6535S ) for details. There are several things about this movie that might seem odd if one is not aware of them beforehand:

All unnecessary random encounters have been manipulated ( https://tasvideos.org/LuckManipulation ) into not happening.
The player dies several times in order to get transported back to the beginning.
Action commands are often delayed intentionally in order to manipulate critical hits and such.
