Claudio de Jesus Ferreira is a former professional surfer himself, and he passed on his love for the sport to his son from a young age. He was born in Maresias, Brazil, and started riding waves when he was just 10 years old. It didn't take long for him to show some serious potential.

In 1997, Ferreira tied the knot with Simone Medina, who we will talk about shortly, and are the parents of Gabriel and Felipe.
