In this pilot episode, we will try to establish a regular live show for our audience, which gives them a chance to ask live question about the recent reviews and news we published.

GoPro HERO6 Review:

We will talk start by talking about our review of the GoPro HERO6 and watch some fresh footage from some heavy-use of the action cam while biking in Spain! Gunther Machu who did the review will also be a live guest in the studio.

How's GoPro doing financially?

We'll also analyse how GoPro is doing in general, are they managing to rebound after some difficult times? What's in their future?

Sony RX0 Review:

The Sony RX0 is another small camera that just hit the market, and we'll talk to Johnnie Behiri who conducted the review. He used it as a "real world camera". We'll talk about the strengths and weaknesses, and why this shouldn't be considered an "action camera".

Wiral Lite Portable Cable Cam:

A Kickstarter campaign for an "everyman's cable cam" - just set up a line between two trees, hook up your camera to the Wiral Lite and off you go! That's the theory - we'll have our regular writer Jakub Han in the studio to talk about his experiences reviewing the device.

Sony FS5 "Select Wheel of Fortune":

Many users suffer from a malfunctioning select wheel on their Sony FS5 camera, which doesn't work oftentimes at all. What's the issue and what is Sony doing about it? Were you affected too?

Tile Light Duo on Kickstarter:

We'll show the Tile Light which we have featured on one episode of Essentials before, as a small and portable light - that just got considerably cheaper through a new Kickstarter campaign where they sell 2 for the price of one. We'll look at the light and its output.

Perspectives on Filmmaking Panel Discussion:

We'll take a quick look at our 6-part panel discussion series "Perspectives on Filmmaking" which we conducted together with Olympus - in case you missed it.
