Some children do not like to stand too close to their friends or their other children when they're lining up. If you know that particular child has difficulty, make sure that you let them get in the front of the line or the back of the line, and if being in the middle of the line is way too much for them just don't put them in that stressful situation, or if you see them always trying to go to the end of the line maybe wait and call their name last when they're lining up.

Another good strategy to use is to get the kids to line up doing a lot of different activities and get that motor movement patterns out when they're lining up to go to the next transition activity.
