Former British commander Richard Kemp says Israel effectively “knocked out the entire air defence capabilities” of Iran during its strike.

Four Iranian soldiers have reportedly been killed after Israel launched a series of retaliatory strikes against Iran.

“The strike this morning was absolutely extraordinary,” Mr Kemp told Sky News Australia.

“It included destroying air defence systems in Syria and Iraq, which are on the path to Iran, then destroying Iran’s air defence systems and effectively knocking out the entire air defence capabilities of Iran.”
