💬 “You can’t have happiness without health. And you can’t have health without happiness.”

If an investment delivers financial gain but erodes health, it fails. If it creates comfort but leaves people deeply unhappy, it also fails. For Daron, every business, every family structure, and every investment should ultimately serve these two outcomes.

This is where family businesses often struggle. Different generations carry different definitions of happiness. For some, it is grandchildren and shared meals. For others, it is independence, autonomy, or building something new. Conflict emerges not because people want different things, but because those differences were never surfaced, discussed, or aligned.
What is missing is not intention, but clarity.

I highlighted from our work that when families do not articulate a shared vision, expectations become assumptions. Children wait. Parents stay ambiguous. Disappointment grows quietly over time.

Daron names this plainly. Clear expectations change everything. When expectations are clear, people can prepare. They can build their own paths. They stop waiting to be spoon fed and start taking responsibility for their own lives.
