this machine has remained very similar to the base game's version. it has just gotten upgraded a lot to keep up with most of the other machines. it still has no MTS ability at all and does well with just boosting and quick turns. the acceleration remains the weakest point so you have to avoid crashes.

i decided to use the code that enables restore on GP simply because it's allowed in the leaderboard where i'm submitting these runs and it's less hassle by not having to restart runs over stupid mistakes. at first it might seem like it'd make things easier because you can't die in a race but the CPU can't die either so you can't win by retiring your rivals.

to record these runs, i use a Retrotink 4K to play with the lowest lag possible and to make the image as clear as possible before it gets to the capture card. i decided to include the input display to show how the various moves i do are done since i use a different recording method that lets me add that.
