Indian writer Partap Sharma interacts with children and book lovers at the launch of his comic book Dog Detective Ranjha in Mumbai. He talks about the German Shepherd dog and relationships between dogs and humans. While signing the comic books for children at the launch, the write and filmmaker also talks about the quality of comic books today and in earlier times.
Partap Sharma- " Today what I feel is lacking is not the writing of stories, but the approach to the writing of stories in that childlike simplicity that aims at wisdom. That is what we don't have.
This kind of quality for children is lacking. That is why people still buy books published abroad though the stories have no relevance to India, only because the books look good. A book must not only be good to read but must also be good on the bookshelf."

The comic book Dog Detective Ranjha is a compilation of stories based on Sharma's pet dog Ranjha, a German Shepherd dog.
