AC/DC SMPS Basics (1)

Описание к видео AC/DC SMPS Basics (1)

In this first AC/DC SMPS basics course we will address the following topics. Why would we want to use rather complex switch-mode powered topologies for converting mains input to a regulated voltage or current output? Why can't we just use traditional techniques? What switch-mode power conversion topologies are available. We will show the most common and popular ones. We will conclude this short course with an overview of the components that NXP produces to implement the aforementioned switch-mode topologies. But we will discuss the details in the second basic AC/DC SMPS course.
