Two weekends ago, Team Squidward 3 made history for ourselves — our first-ever tuna fishing trip on our own boat. We’ve been lucky enough to experience tuna on other boats before, but this was the first time we set out aboard Squidward 3 to take on these giants.

We used the trip as a training day for the UK Tuna Championships in Falmouth, testing our setups, refining our teamwork, and making sure we could confidently handle the full catch, measure, tag, and release process under the CHART program.

Powered by Suzuki, guided by Lowrance, and armed with Shimano Tiagra 50 wides and Stella setups, this session gave us everything we needed to prepare for the big event.
