In this video, I go over 3 easy techniques to help you learn how to shape great looking pizza!
Depending on the texture of your dough (wet or dry) or your preference, a combination of all three techniques may be used.
As a side note, if your dough is starting to spring back as your working it, meaning you've flattened it out and tried stretching it but it goes back close to its original starting point, then the dough needs to rest in it's new shape before it can take on even more shaping. Let is rest about 5 minutes, then try again. Depending on the batch (same recipe and ingredients) I've had multiple sessions of rests needed to get the shape I wanted. If stretching is continued, it causes areas that are too thin and/or tear. Feel it out, you'll develop the sensitivity with practice.
