Evolution R255 SMS+ TCT Sliding Mitre Saw | Unboxing, Assembly, First Use and Review

Evolution Power Tools sent me this saw to review. I've previously reviewed their Rage 3S saw (which I bought myself) - that was pretty impressive, and so is this one. The R255 is a big beast - it can do a straight chop cut on 300mm x 80mm (12 inches by 3 and a bit) timber, and cuts plastics and metals with ease. In this video I do an unboxing of the R255, and show you how to assemble it. I also do some testing of the Evolution R255 SMS, cutting plastic, softwood, laminate, oak, galvanised steel stud profile, and steel tube.

And the verdict? The Evolution R255 TCT SMS+ Sliding Mitre Saw is very well designed and made, it's big, it's powerful, it looks great and it does the job. Highly recommended.
