‘You have five minutes to evacuate’: Sheltered Palestinians in Gaza forced to flee

Palestinians who were sheltering at the Fallujah school in Gaza said they received warnings from the Israeli military on Tuesday ordering them to evacuate within five minutes.

"We were contacted and told to evacuate the Fallujah school and you have five minutes to leave,” said a woman carrying a backpack and her child as she fled the school in Jabalia, northern Gaza.

Throughout Israel’s war on Gaza, Palestinians have frequently been instructed to evacuate areas and head for designated “safe zones” which would sometimes still get hit by Israeli attacks.
