In This Video I will show you how to tight your bike chain ( This procedure does apply to all bikes )
There are various tensioning systems but the procedure is almost always the same. Adjusting the free play in the chain is important. If the chain is too tight the gearbox will suffer (and the bike will be tight on power), if the chain is loose it will eat the gears (pinion & crown) while the bike will feel sluggish.

How To Tight Any Bikes Chain
Move the tire back until the chain starts to tighten. 3. Find the appropriate tension. When you have reached the point where the chain is tight enough to only move about a half of an inch in either direction you need to tighten the bolts and your wheel into place.
