In this detailed DIY tutorial, I'll guide you through removing and installing the valve cover gasket on a 2012 Ford Fusion with the common 2.5L Duratec inline-4 engine (also applies to similar 2006-2012 models with 2.5L or 2.3L). Leaking valve cover gaskets are a frequent issue causing oil burns, smells, or messes under the hood. Tools you'll need:

8mm, 10mm sockets and ratchet (with extensions)

Shop rags, brake cleaner, and RTV sealant (black, if needed for corners)
