What Does Silvopasture Look Like?

We finally got some four-legged volunteer workers to help us with the land maintenance. Well, maybe they're not volunteers...more like indentured servants. In any case, I think they're pretty happy to be a part of our silvopasture project, and getting regular moves to fresh new paddocks. Nobody here does this, and I couldn't find any examples of silvopasture by addition with this level of planting density. This is our first ever experience caring for large livestock. So far so good. This is a video from the first few days on the farm in their introductory paddock.

At the beginning of 2020, my wife and I decided to initiate a large-scale regenerative agroforestry project in the high jungle of Rioja, Peru. We planted 10 hectares (24.7 acres) of cattle pasture, utilizing 11,000 fruit, nut & pioneer trees, as well as a couple hundred native timber trees.
We intend to carve out a homestead on this piece of land, and work with the earth; utilizing animals for both maintenance and sustenance, in order to create a new, permanent forest that provides for our basic needs and serves as a model system for environmental conservation.
