Kayas Assistant: A Jarvis-inspired AI Agent for Windows & Web Automation

Meet Kayas, a custom-built AI agent designed to bridge the gap between Large Language Models and local/web execution. Unlike standard chatbots, Kayas uses a sophisticated Router and Executor system to interpret natural language and perform real-time tasks on a PC.

In this demo:

WhatsApp Web Automation: Using Playwright, the agent manages a persistent browser session. It can search for contacts, send text messages, and even locate and upload images—all through natural language commands.

Local File System Control: The agent interacts directly with the Windows Shell to manage files. In the video, you’ll see it locate a PDF in a subfolder, rename it, and open it instantly.

Intelligent Path Resolution: You don’t need to provide exact file paths. The assistant uses its search capabilities to find the right files within specified root directories.

Key Technical Features:

Agentic Routing: A custom logic layer that parses user intent into executable JSON actions.

Session Persistence: WhatsApp automation is built to remember your login, so you only scan the QR code once.

Safety Gate: Built-in safety protocols and a "Sandbox Mode" to ensure the AI only performs authorized actions.

Tech Stack: Python, Playwright, Windows Shell Integration, and HuggingFace LLM inference.
