Tepper Sports & Entertainment, parent of the Carolina Panthers football team and Major League Soccer's Charlotte FC, has completed its executive team overhaul with four new hires, three of them since the start of the year. The company has constantly sought to strengthen its leadership team to improve the team's operation and performance.

Among the new hires is Tamera Green, who assumes the role of Senior Vice President and Director of Communications, responsible for overseeing the team's communications strategy and interaction with the press. With extensive experience in public relations and communications, Green has worked at companies such as FedEx and General Electric.

Caroline Wright also joined the Panthers' executive team as senior vice president and director of events. She will be responsible for leading the team's event production team, including managing all aspects related to event logistics and fan experience. Wright has over 20 years of event and production experience, having previously worked in the NFL and NBA.

Tanya Taylor took over as Senior Vice President and General Counsel. With more than 20 years of experience in business law, Taylor will be responsible for leading Tepper Sports' legal team and managing legal matters related to the operation of the Panthers and Charlotte FC.

Mike Whitehead completed the roster of new hires, taking the role of Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. With extensive finance and accounting experience, Whitehead will be responsible for leading the finance team at Tepper Sports and managing financial operations for the Panthers and Charlotte FC.

The new hires are part of a larger strategy by Tepper Sports to overhaul the Panthers' and Charlotte FC's executive staff to improve the teams' operation and performance. Since acquiring the Panthers in 2018, the company has sought to bolster its leadership team with experienced and highly skilled professionals in different areas, from finance and accounting to event production and communications.

David Tepper, owner of Tepper Sports and the Panthers, has been investing heavily in the team, both in overhauling the executive team, signing players and modernizing Bank of America Stadium. He aims to build the Panthers into one of the top teams in the NFL and strengthen Charlotte FC's position in Major League Soccer.
